Hey "Samsung", are you tech support? Do you get many complaints about the black levels on your monitors? I've got a 950p and can't get black out of it (eg: if I change the Windows background to black, I get gray. If I run a dvd movie in letterbox, if the scene is dark, the image becomes gray and so to the sidebars).

Is this easy to fix if I take it to a service center? Thanks

I'm using the Compaq P900, which is a rebadged Sony g400 and I'd recommend it.

Hagbard: No I am not tech support but this is the respond from a real tech support:
"He is probably compaining when he has a black video other wise say the boot up screen in the CMOS he gets a casting to the black as if the brightness control could not be turned down enough.
This can be adjusted by an ASC. ASC would have to adjust either the video bias level or screen voltage."

ASC = Authorized Service Center.

To Locate an ASC, just call 1-800-SAMSUNG during the business hours and ask for one... Just tell them that you were told to call them about the solution of the problem. If you run into any problem, just email me...

Look at this

LINKto the 900NF product page on your web site.

It states the 900NF is 96Khz not 110Khz??? The 900NF used to be 110Khz.

I checked with our Product Marketing and 900NF is still 110Khz and not 96Khz, my webmaster may have copied the content from 900IFT which is 96Khz... Thanks for letting me know, and I will have that corrected but hey, I guess we have been advertising lower specs

It's just like I told you, Samsung didn't change the specs of the 900NF. The new shipments I've got here still has 110Khz, and 240MHz pixel frequency.
