It's a good song. Sometimes people have to get over themselves and just listen to music. Let go of your pre-conceived notions of how a single song can typecast you.

Good music is good music. Just because it's "emo" or "pussy music" to someone with myopic tastes doesn't mean that if you listen to it you have to become what YOU think it represents.

And I also love the people who begrudge a good, small band success. If they are great and you love them so much, then why wouldn't you want them to have success so they can continue to produce music that you like? I've been through it so often with so many bands. To me, I think that it is awesome that a band that I like is able to attain commercial success.

Dude, it doesn't freakin' matter, if you can play it on guitar and sing it, you're golden. Hell, just play the guitar in front of them and most girls swoon.
