This is my first real chance to sit down and relax since Sunday night, so I felt like blogging a bit.
Ohio isn't such a bad place. The drivers are terrible but the people seem nice enough.
My company recently acquired a company's stores that went out of business. I was just supposed to come down here to set up a few computers then stand by for troubleshooting calls. Business was so crazy that I never got a chance to stand by. I guess that is a good thing but I am dead tired.
Micro Center is the shiznit. I finally got lil rudeguy's new gaming rig built (well mostly built but all bought). Total out the door price was less than Amazon or Newegg could do for me. They had all these crazy bundle deals and the price kept dropping the more I bought. I think he will be happy.
Anyone ever seen a couple hundred very upset poor people crowding into a tiny store? I worked retail for a long time and thought I had seen it all. Today proved I hadn't. People started getting rowdy before we even opened the store, so I went outside to chat. Ended up having a ton of fun with the crazy people. Only a few loudmouths, so that was good.
I'm going to try to get out of going to Omaha. I don't want to go and one of our IT guys wants to go. But he's young and I don't know if they will trust him to go. I am going to pitch the idea to anyone who will listen tomorrow.
I miss lil rudeguy. I can't wait to get home and see him.
