The cheap plastic ones are indeed cheap. However, the nice ones (11.5g) listed on that site are REALLY nice. They don't roll around as much and they just have a better feel. I believe they're made from clay.

I've got a nice set of chips (not from that site) with a holder that me and the boys use for poker night. I can say they really are much better than the cheap light-weight ones. Now I just need to spring for another set and we'll be set!

yes they are made crom clay. these are the same types of chips that u play with at a real casino. cheap plastic chips can be bought at the local store for $5 for 300 chips or something. these are the real deal

No, the quality chips are made of clay, not plastic. Like the kind you they use in casino's.

I play poker with these exact chips on a weekly basis.

They are great. They're actually plastic with metal inserts, they are heavy, and we LOVE 'em.

I highly recommend these chips!

those are different chips. they make plastic ones and clay ones. i believe plastic go for $0.10 each and clay $0.27 each

Yeah, those chips are high density plastic with metal inserts. I still love playing with them, just as much as I do with clay chips.

You can get good, high quality chips of that type with vinyl, aluminum, or oak cases on eBay for a better price than they have on that website.

I got my set for $120 shipped... 500 Suit Design Chips with oak carrying cases and 5 individual 100 chip caddies.

this site is the main seller for poker chips on EBAY. i actually got a better deal on EBAY than on the site. i saved about $15. i just phoned in the order and they gave me the best going rate they had on EBAY without a fuss at all

They're clay..believe me I have a set that I won offa Egay and my friend has a set too. They may feel like plastic but they sure aren't =).

Edit: Maybe you guys are right =). Egay is full of lies apparently. It seems they are made of a composite resin.
