Not a callout thread... since @DrPizza isn't around anymore, I figured I'd take up the mantle of goat keeper.
Say hi to Wilbur.

chickens are the gateway drug to farming
Impressive. Hybrid chicken goats.
You think you could teach shorty to lay eggs?
maybe chickens are the trick
i had to help take care of cows for years as a kid
and they mostly made me want to not have to scrape alleyways of 2 inch deep liquid poop every night
Hey SunnyD, that computer still working?
whoa, i have seen many breeds, but don't think i've ever seen that one!
either that or she's just really hairy
damn, you have cow, goats, and chickens. So you must live out in the boonies. What kind of farming do you do?
Animal husbandry is considered a type of agriculture(farming)just not in the traditional sense that most people think of. Your post is actually interesting and kind of highlights the disconnect most people have when it comes to ag and the entire scope it entails.damn, you have cow, goats, and chickens. I have a FARM TOO. A GPU FARM. I "grow" ETH and BTC.
Welcome back, SunnyD!!!
Thanks for the great pics!
Much respect. I'm all for people enjoying their hobbies and growing livestock.Mini Highdex. Scottish Highland / Dexter cross. So yeah, she's part hairy coo.
Farming is a misnomer. More of a backyard homesteading. 11 acres isn't terribly much for a farm. And I'm only 35 minutes from a major city, and a little under 2 hours from an even bigger city. So boonies... well yeah.
You seem impressed. So I'll see your cow, goats and chickens and raise you some ducks!
