Well I lost another tooth, an old crown (molar) that had some decay below the bone edge and couldn't be saved. It was a bitch to get out and bled like stink for about five hours (I've been on some aspirin therapy for while) but I wasn't in too much pain....until about 90 minutes ago. Throbbing, radiating.

Fortunately, the dentist prescribed me some real pain meds; Lortab 10/500 (same as Vicodin). Took one and chased it down with a screw driver.

Ahhh....feeling rather good (though it started oozing a lot again).

40, this was the fourth molar I've lost in about 10 years. Two were really old (15+ year) crowns and two were old large fillings that had already been redone at least once (that I couldn't afford a to have crowned).

What does being sheltered have to do with anything? Yes, many people combine liver metabolized pain killers (any drug really), and alcohol.. and every single time it's a terrible idea. I know you're one of the forums biggest trolls, but you can't possibly be this dense. Kid? Ha.

Ignorance would be fairly amusing, if this type of statement wasn't incredibly common. The OP also stated he's been taking aspirin as well, another drug metabolized by the liver. Who knows if he has any other history that may be compromising liver function, or taking any other liver metabolized drugs? Maybe you guys just haven't seen enough people in liver failure?
