I am @ 425/1100 now with decent temps ... any real gains with flash? I dont want to have to use an aftermarket cooler.

the GT cooler is a little too small for OCing.
the Ultra coolers are fine if you replace the TIM.
GT owners should definately replace the TIM, now! even if you dont OC

just to clarify what i said here....
if you are OCing you should replace the TIM for the GPU, memory, and the mosfets. dont forget the mosfets! ~ they regulate the power for your card... very, very important.
damn...thats a really nice cooler! i wish i had gotten that and slapped some ASC on, volia!

your card will register as a GT with the new bios. (thats ok dont worry about that)Originally posted by: MartinCracauer
I have an eVGA Ultra, so by default I would underclock the card from 400 to 350 with that BIOS.
Do I understand correctly that with the new BIOS there is no difference between a GT and an Ultra? Until you overclock where a card that was an Ultra originally will likely go higher?
