my school doesnt have doors on the stalls either. And too make matters worse... in one of the guys bathrooms there are 3 stalls, but the 3 mirrors and sinks are on the opp. wall. If you look at the mirrors they point right at the stalls. Its crazy... I have yet to take a dump in school.. and if i ever do I'm gonna run right over to the wellness center hehe.

WTF?!!?!? Every school I've ever attended had doors on the stalls (edited out urinals, lol)! Thats just fvcking sick otherwise. So any kid can walk into any stall and stare right at your dick while you take a dump? WTF kind of weird ass schools do you people live in. Married couples sometimes feel uncomfortable having to go to the bathroom in front of each other, nevermind freaking complete strangers. Thats even scarrier when you come to find out later that one of your teachers was a pedophile or something sick like that. In highschool we had stall doors and I still avoided going to the bathroom in them just because they were kinda nasty. But when you gotta go you gotta go, especially after soccer or something like that.

So I've finally uncovered why americans are so fat. They are traumatized at an early age to hold in their sh!t causing backup and colon disorders. And all along we were blaiming fast food....

Got stalls with doors here! (I have an apartment now, so it doesn't matter much anymore, though).

I know military schools like The Citadel don't have dividers nor doors. Anyone see "Full Metal Jacket?"

hehehe my school's like that too and stall partitions are bright orange. three stalls against one wall, 4ft walkway in between and four sinks and a large mirror on the opposite side. Urinals are on the same wall as stalls but on the other side.

Basically if you were in one of the stall, you can see whose sitting in the other two stalls and vice versa. I was like OMG! at beginning, but it doesn't bother me a single bit now.

Some shy guys attempts to hide himself with newspaper and such and we call them sissy's.

ya, in HS non of our bathrooms had doors. In college the newer dorms have them but the older ones don't

Fortunately our main bathroom is kept quite decent. If I catch a guy before me pissin on those seats, I'll make him clean it. Thats the good thing about not having any doors.

My HS (a rich private one) has doors on all the stalls. Some of em, the locks are broken, and others smell bad (its a bathroom, of course). I think the best money the school has spent though is before this year began, they put in automatic flushers on most of the toilets. Woohoo

Crud, the two johns by our school's gym also have long tubs for urinals. So ppl go in the corner or in the stalls (fortunately, the stalls have doors, but eww! there's always pee on the stall seats).

Oh BTW, all the stalls have doors, but in the john by the English bldg, the locks are ALWAYS broken! I never #2 @ our school. BTW, last year, the john by the math hall got caught fire cuz someone was messing around, and it was closed for the next three months until Summer.

My college dorm bathroom has 3 stalls hwere 1 has no door or seat so is used for urinal others are fine but there is a lot of gross stuff that ends up there....no flushing, throw up on florr, ect...bleh

back in my high school days, i can only remember taking a crap twice. one time in the nurses office, and one time i used the teachers bathroom. while not a four star hotel, it had decent accomodations, and pretty clean toiler seats.

it's no way i would take a sh!t in unpleasant conditions, no matter how bad my stomach hurts i would just hold it in. just like at work, where if i see dried up piss on the seats, i will refuse to take a dump.

Well, I'm not really a guy, but here's some stuff on the bathroom situation at my school.

Our bathrooms have always been 'ehh..' but it got really bad my sophomore year. The school officials locked every single bathroom except for the main ones on the first floor, so you couldn't go anywhere else. There were 6 stalls in there: 2 had doors, 4 had curtains. Well, in the two with stall doors, the toilets were broken somehow, and instead of having the janitors (who are paid to fix things that are broken) fix it, or getting someone to fix it, they just padlocked those stalls. Now, 3 of the 4 curtains got ripped down so nobody used those stalls. We're down to one now, but there was never any TP in the bathroom.. none in ANY of the stalls, much less the one stall that people actually used. There was never any soap or paper towels, and eventually all the sinks were broken. After a while we were PO'ed enough to do something.. we started a petition. TONS of people signed it, and our representative ( ) took it to the principal, but he didn't do anything about it. Next, she took it to the superintendent and let him and the principal know that if nothing was done, it was going to the health department.. that must've gotten their attention.

They fixed the toilets, put new curtains up, put soap dispensers in.. there's USUALLY TP in there, although not always, and there's still almost never any paper towels, but we can deal with that.

Anyway, they're still locking the other bathrooms sometimes.. I only use the one on the 2nd floor (when it's actually open), cause it's somewhat decent.

I would seriously start something about the stalls not having doors. That's disgusting and I'm sure it violates some kind of rule somewhere...

I'm impressed. That was quite an action.

I guess its worse for guys since its obvious he's peeing or sh!tting, but you can't which one the girl is going.

1 and 2 - i will never be traveling to Asia and Europe (maybe Europe someday).

3. what if you are overweight, or have a physical disability, how the hell are people supposed to sqaut when they take a sh!t?

to take a dump in less than ideal conditions indicate to me two things. that individual doesn't care, or they have no self control of their colons. bowel movement to me is a private moment.

Define ideal conditionl and how much you're willing to compromise.

For me, its no piss on the floor, clean and got plenty of paper.
