High School/College Boy's bathroom

Our school(HS)'s boy's room don't have any doors on any stalls and there are about 7 urinals 3" apart of each other.

Oddly faculty bathrooms are labeled men and women.

Is it pretty common for high school/college bathrooms to lack stall door's in boy's room or for that matter girl's? Everyone avoided using them at first, but all the seniors and juniors are used to it by now.


I think its kind of dumb to have 7 urinals when no more than four gets used at once since most people don't want to sit shoulder-to-shouder when taking a leak.

Ours used to but they don't anymore. You gotta use the handicap stall if you want some privacy.

Some advice: if your men's room doesn't have stall doors, and you have problems with "gawkers", this line will fix them up:

Yeah, we don't have any stall doors either, so basically whenever you have to take a crap, you're screwed.

I got used to not having doors in my high school..... Everyone smoked in the bathrooms as well. You could develop lung cancer from just trying to take a leak....it was sad. One time someone even pulled some of the papertowels down out of the dispenser and lit them. The sealing tiles were all black in the bathroom....pretty scary. The sad thing is that my school was not even in the ghetto. It just had a lot of people who needed to be whipped with a sledgehammer.

That sucks...I would never have taken a dump in highschool anyway...you never know what could be on those seats...

Hmm.. maybe you are afraid you might get excited bieng so close to another guy.

Are you a girl? I don't know many guys who sit next to other guys while taking a leak.

Thats nothing compared to our school. Even though my school has lots of preppy kids, the school shares money with the DISTRICT which also has lots of poor ghetto schools and we don't get anymore money than they do.

One of the urinal has big crack, one sink broken, mirror is shattered, quite a few holes on the wall. The school can't afford to fix it.

Its good your school is putting so much effort in fixing it up.

When I was in the Army, stationed in Germany, we had to sit shoulder to shoulder in an outhouse. No walls/stalls, just 4 holes in plywood.

well yea, that's because it's a university

my middle school, while it was in a ghetto, was not really that bad as far as vandalism. every once in a while people would plug the sinks, and leave the water running, but that never really did too much. no stall doors though. we had really strict administrators, so maybe that was a factor.

I hated this about high school. I developed bad bowel habits because of intense fear of having to take a crap in a stall with no doors. I was always worried about it. Every morning I forced myself to take a crap before going to school because I didn't want to ever have to take a crap there.

Sometimes I just pushed and pushed but very little came out. Or I forced my crap out before it was ready. As a result the stool was not well formed and left bits and pieces in my lower intentines. These little bits of crap in my lower intestines generated gas. So, basically I was always gassy during high school. I always felt like I had to take a crap or fart. Or I developed diarerea because of the constant worrying of having to take a crap there.
