I don't think OP is bitter. I think he's thumbing his nose at them and I don't blame him. There are some real assholes in HS that you can't get away from until after graduation. There were times I was the real asshole.

HS became unimportant to me about 15 minutes after graduation. I'm slow so it took a few minutes to adjust my perspective.

At 21 she's hotter. In fact, many of the plain, not-so-hot chicks are smoking hot at 21.

At 26 there's a 75% chance she's still hot.

At 31 many are starting to look worn - less than 50% chance she's still hot.

At 36 she's been married, now has two kids - 33% chance of residual hotness.

At 41 she's got teenage kids who are hammering her ... hotness probability less than 20%.

At 46, they have kids in college and they're just plain wrung-out. Less than 1 in 10 of the high school hotties are still anything that could be considered hot.

I work in IT, I'm a software developer. I work from home. I do mainly 1099. combined I pull down around $260 a year.....

Eh, life isn't all about money. Obviously if you were a nerd, you were destined to make decent money doing whatever. But if you just sit at home playing WoW in your mom's basement into your 40's, nobody is going to be impressed by that either.

Not saying that's what you do personally, but just in general, measurements of success in life are more than about your paycheck.

Considering a 3.5 ~= B+ yeah, that is crap. High school was a fucking joke and a half for me and I have no idea how it actually qualifies people to live in the real world, unless you take mainly all AP courses and plan to go into engineer/sciences/health fields.

Also, a true nerd would have a 4.0, hands down, no questions. Methinks you were just a creepy critter that nobody liked, and you did average. Fortunately though, you managed to take that mediocrity and translate it into good money.

Yeah, but I didn't want to hurt OP's already fragile ego. His GPA and salary aren't bad, but their not great either. So, they are decent.
