Why would I be mad? I'm a EE and you couldn't swing that education for 3 seconds. A 3.5 HS GPA is embarrassing.

i had a 2.6 HS GPS, 3.0 undergrad GPA (econ) and a 3.98 master's GPA (MS Statistics)

high school GPA doesn't mean a whole lot. It affects is where you go to college (undergrad), but what you do from there is all on you. (well, i suppose the HS gpa, college choice, etc are on you too...)

This is one thing I never understood in this country.

Back in Europe, popularity was based on your grades, intelligence and then combination of looks and personality.

Here iN US, first 2 are completely ignored.

Those that are complete losers end up popular and the smartest ones are "losers" aka nerds.

It never really made any sense to me.
