Actually I did martial arts in high school - I never got beaten up, not by people in school anyway. My point is he shouldn't have left the dude standing. Next thing you know he comes back with a knife or something...

if he didn't leave the dude standing i'm pretty sure they wouldn't be on good terms now. if he had done what you said, maybe later the guy might come back with a knife.... the more you hurt someone (especially if it is for no good reason than just to hurt them) its probably safe to assume they are going to be more vindictive and lust after revenge and escalate the violence.

a hs fight is a fight, but jeez man what kind of psychotic martial arts school taught you to do something that would make you a criminal?

This guy was dealing serious blows to the head, could have dealt even worse damage if he hit the right spots. I think that lost blow to the head was excessive, the fight was clearly over at that point. IMHO both these kids are idiots.

Ouch. I tended to avoid face shots in high school for that reason, no need to cause that level of damage unless your life is in jeopardy. Though I never really got into any fights after freshman year. Taking a guy twice my size 5 feet into the air and putting him flat on his back on the concrete and unable to move for 5 minutes without use of his diaphragm, and my nonchalantly picking up my bag and walking to class as if nothing happened while 15 people stood around wondering if this guy was ok, probably had something to do with that... I tend to end fights before they start*. Minding my own business and keeping to myself and not being an asshat probably helped as well. Though I was at my peak in Taijutsu and later Taekwondo, and I loved fighting for the sake of fighting back then, if only for the sport. For reasons like this pic I always prefer to wear some kind of hand pads... and not for my benefit.

at the new school. i got mad and said meet me after school.
