High School Regrets

I just graduated high school last year. I had an awesome time partying through out those 4 years. When I got to my senior year, I settled down with my ex for a good year. Just recently broke up with her after seeings how college chicks are (ex is still in hs). I missed out on alot of things because of that. Besides that though, I sure tried my best to take chances and not to pussy out of things. At one of our high school assemblies I played Eruption for the entire school. Best feeling ever even though before I did it, I was scared out of my mind.

man hs sucked for me-maybe because i always felt, and still feel that the shyt that goes on there is total bullsh!t. Kids drink to try to be cool, they think college is a totally different world, and life will somehow dramatically change, and the world will sweep them off their feet. Thats the one thing I never understood-why is it so fvcking cool to drink? So I guees, thats why I never enjoy those types of parties, I think they're just hick-my idea of a party is going to club and dancing with a bunch of chicks, not trying to score sh!tty budweiser beer to get drunk.

High School Regrets

Going to a Detroit Public High School

Seriously, I missed about 3/4 of school but I still passed Senior year with a 3.5 GPA.

Teacher: Did you turn in your work?
Me: Yes, I did.
Teacher: Where is it at?
Me: I gave it to you when I left class the other day.
Teacher: Ohh... you did. Yes I remember you giving me your work, but I cant find it. How about I give you a B since I lost your work.
Me: OK

i don't regeret anything. ended up with a 3.902 and had the best of times playing drums and being the percussion captain/ band president and dating the same beauty for 3 years. what i regret is farking that up not long AFTER graduating

Hated HS soooooooo much I quit after my Junior year I quit and went to the local Community College and finished up in 6-weeks. That was back in '92

My biggest regrets are not F'ing around with more chicks. I made my rounds and had a male slut image with a lot of the girls. Dut Damn, it was only Oral! If I knew then what I know now, I would have bagged those chicks in the back of my Jeep.

No real regrets, never went to a Prom, didn't even do Senior pics and none of that crap bothers me.

It always comes down to the chicks I blew off or only went to 3rd base with...........

I regret more at college than Highschool. During highschool I was partying and trying to understand who I was. In college I did the same thing only knew who I was......a partier!!!

Now I am 26 and BACK in college lol. Wife and kids make you grow up, I swear!

I DID get the fvck out of high school as fast as I could (skipped junior year). I wish I had taken some shop classes though. Only the smoker's corner stoners seemed to take shop classes, but I now realize how much simpler it would have been to learn welding, auto repair, etc for free in school as opposed to night classes and learning on my own.

Oh wow that's exactly what I'm doin now. Except I'm still able to keep my GPA up in the 4s. Though this year that might change. :|

May I ask why you skip on that year? I skipped 7th and 8th grade, went straight to 9th from grammar school, graduated from high school before I even turned 16.


My life has turned out pretty much the way it was planned. I wouldn't say I have regrets, but if I had a chance to do it again, I would do it differently. Among the things I would do: spend less time preparing for all those tests (PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP), play football instead of baseball, take Latin instead of Spanish, take up carpentry, and the ultimate regret -- sex.

I actually kinda regret making a quasi-death threat on one of my teachers. He tried to have me arrested, barred from graduation, etc. The cops told him there was no way in hell, the administration said "No, we'll just get every teacher in the school to hate him forever." I forgot to pick up my diploma after graduation, so when I went in a few months later I almost got into a fight with one of the secretaries (!) because she was so convinced I was going to kill everyone.

Oh, and then going through NetWare to send a popup message to every single computer in the school district. That got me suspended and "investigated" by the police. Woohoo.
