I like BFG.
Evga is my 2nd choice. I have a Evga 7900GT and a BFG 7900GTX on the way. Had BFG 6800GT SLI in the past and also a Evga 7800GT in the past.

All good cards of course, but overall I'd want BFG in my experience.

BFG owns all, period. They offer the best warranty. Anytime your card is f****d, call them up and they will replace it. No need to register to get the lifetime warranty like EVGA and XFX. So you can sell your card to anyone and that person can sell that card to anyone and still get the same warranty.
Very good Point! However they just Droped it too! $469.69 Now find a BFG 7900 GTX for that Low!

Nope there are only "bascially" two GPU makers right now: Nvidia and ATI.
Nvidia allows other companies to sell Nvidia chipped cards. ATI does build and sell their own branded cards, but other companies can sell the ATI chipped cards.
Typically the construction of graphic cards are all identical; however, the main differences are video outputs/inputs, component manufactures (example memory chip brand), cooling (these days vanilla cards all have the same stock cooling), and bundles.

ATI does NOT make their own cards. It has been Sapphire making them for ATI quite awhile now. Unless something has changed recently.

ATI still makes their own cards, hence, "Built By ATI." Back in the day of the 9800, "BBA" cards had better build quality and were cards of choice for overclocking. Sapphire is a third party that also makes ATI cards.

Nope. eVGA kills all. Why? I have BFG and eVGA? but guess what? eVGA's lifetime warranty KILLS BFG. Once you take off that cooler on your BFG, WARRANTY IS DEAD. eVGA? PUt your VF700 VF900 AC NV Silencer 5 on it. Warranty is STILL GOOD. WEWT.

Guess why I traded my BFG for an eVGA? Plus after reading MANY reviews, eVGA's OC better in general. It's probably just which chips they get...

That has never been proven. Sure people say it on the forums all the time but other than that I have never heard anything with actual proof.

Well thats true, however, bfg doesnt check that type of stuff. They wouldnt care anyways. So that heatsink thing is sort of a moot point. Theres another side to that as well. BFG gives lifetime warranty for anyone, where as evga you have to register it and its only valid for the original purchaser. Also, evga lifetime warranty WILL be discontinued they stated at some point. Where as BFG, its a true lifetime warranty. Anyways just thought id toss that in. I actually own an EVGA card myself.

Actually you can just give your registration info over to the new person. Or you can unregister the product, and the person who bought your card can register it now.

I would call this warm. The CC deal the other day was hot. I got my 7900GT for $257 shipped.

Does that include tax?
You are still waiting to get paid for your rebates too, right?

Yes that included tax and it was delivered yesterday.

I do have to submit $50 in rebates but I have never had a problem with rebates (/me knocks on wood) as I keep a copy of everything and send the rebate certified mail.

Actually circuitcity is great with rebates. I usually get mine pretty fast. I got in on that deal as well.

It's now $289.99 with free shpping at ZZF. Slightly cheaper if you do not live in CA.

If you are talking about the EVGA warranty, XFX is even better.
http://www.xfxforce.com/web/support/sho...a?regionId=1&productGenerationId=11979

Other situations that VOID the warranty include:
Damage to the card upon installation
Damage caused by software or hardware incompatibility or by motherboard incompatibility (if other than XFX software or hardware).
Was not operated in accordance with XFX specifications, instructions or technical support directions.
Physical damage to the PCB, GPU or components
Additionally, third party products used in tandem with this Product are not covered by this warranty.

The SKU numbers appear to be different at Monarch and ZipZoomfly.

256-P2-N564 at ZZF and 256-P2-N564-AX at Monarch. What's the difference, if any?

No difference, sometimes (like at Circuitcity) those last 2 letters determine where the card is sold at is all or the looks/packaging. However only Monarch offers the free game as a combo deal, its not an "included in the box" or general Evga offer thing.

Yes the heatsink on the KO version is superior (supposedly 6C cooler than the older model), and covers/cools the memory chips in addition to the core. Otherwise no difference.

You can checkout more info the new KO cooler there.

Is it worth getting a VF900 and copper ramsinks with AS5 for OCing the card with the vmod then?
