I'm currently interested in the GF4 Market, I'm just curious to how high your brand Ti4400/4600s OCs.

Someone mind sharing how high you managed to OC your card, and if you have any addtional Cooling?

Thanks!

So far I have gotten my Visiontek GF4 Ti4400 up to 280/560 with stock cooling. I just got it Saturday and I am going up little bit by little bit. It was wierd tho, after a certain point my 3dMark 2001se scores started going down.... The card runs stable tho....

My Abit Siluro GF4 Ti4400 has successfully o/c'd to 300/650 without any problems. I haven't really tried going higher than Ti4600 speeds though.

P.S. This was with stock cooling, as the Siluro has heatsinks all over the ram.

My LeadTek Ti4400 will do 305/690 no problem. Great 2D quality, and a massive heatsink make this card a winner.

Another vote for Leadtek, overclocks like crazy and the cooling system is great.

Hey KouklatheCat, have you been down clocking the GF4 Ti4400 because on your o/c specs, your memory seems to be slower than stock speeds.

my visiontek goes to 300/650 fine with stock cooling. havent tried further.

Blurry, the default memory clock for visiontek Ti4400 is 550.

EDIT: forgot to mention it is a ti4400. horrible overclock for a ti4600

Worked my way up to 290/580 and got 10294 on 3DMark2001se. Ill try for more later, so far Visiontek looks pretty decent to me.

got my Visiontek Ti4400 at 285/635 for now. Got 9000 in 3dmark2001se. was hoping for 10k, but guess my system doesnt have enough oomph.

update: at 290/640 and flashed the bios on my P4S333 to the P4S533 bios. Scored 10101.

I tried both 4400 and 4600. The 4400 can go 305/655 while the 4600 will hit a little over 325/735.

They are really hot by the way.

My abit Ti4600 will go to 310/760 without any problems, but my friend's gainward won't go pasy 310/740 and supposedly the Gainward is the good overclocker. What I mean to say is...not everyone's results will be seen by all.

Why risk overclocking a $400.00 card when there's nothing out there to utilize it's stock settings yet?

You obviously haven't played Dungeon Siege. Crank up all the settings on that game and you'll be lucky to get 30 fps with a Geforce4 4600.

um... if by 'all the settings' you mean 4xAA and 16x12, then yea.. but come on...
actually what I think your running into is a lack of CPU power, happens with those preAthlon4 CPUs

MAN?! what kindof hardware junky are you? sure you can buy the nicest parts, but no hardware is complete until you can run the nature demo at 16x12x 4xsAA and never bog down to less than 60FPS(preferably 100, depending on the refresh rate of your monitor)

ps: 4400 @ 650

Who cares about a demo or benchmark score? To be able to actually see the differance in an overclocked 4600 and a non overclocked 4600 you would have to have a computer chip for a brain, even in Dungeon siege. So I stand behind my point, why risk it if you can't actually notice the differance.

Overclocking is fun, enough said. Also, can you really tell a difference with your 1800+ @ 1610? I seriously doubt it.

unless you play FPS games the frames per second counter means little. Dungeon Seige plays at 30fps for me maxed out, but it seems smooth. Where as Ut or Q3 would seem like hell.

My visiontek 4400 is running at damn, and I can't even manage 4600 speeds. The best I can get is 290/600, and this is with added ramsinks, and a well ventilated case. I thouched the back of the core, and its burning hot, even at stocks speeds. Has anyone noticed this? The middle of the backside core is burning hot. Is there something wrong with my voltage settings or something? Im running a Shuttle kt266a btw.

I have my Visiontek Ti440 at 300/605 with no addional cooling. No voltage changes at all. My other system specs are on my rigs page.

So your fine with risking over a 100 bucks, just not 400?

Note: I'm not trying to be an a$$ here
