Highest Voltage for Northwood P4?

What's the highest voltage a P4 should be upped to.
I want to be able to have a stable system, that will last at least 5 years...
so i know upping the voltage will decrease system life but... is 1.7 a good upper limit?
i know some people go up to like 1.85 but is that a bit much?

yes 1.7v actual in windows is a good limit
you could probably get away with 1.725-1.75v wtih some really good cooling, but i would determine whether to use the extra .025 or .05v depending on the amount of overclock it gets me

remember temperature doesnt kill the northwoods, its the voltage

hmmm one more thing...
how long should i run Prime 95 for to test stability??

atleast 12hrs
12+hrs if possible

but if it runs for 24hrs, its safe to say its stable

I ran a 1.8a @ 2.7ghz...... voltage 2.1 or 2.05..... died in a month =)

Ran my other 1.8a @ 2.4 voltage 1.72 for a year fine...

On vapochill setup though.. idle was 4 degrees C

Trying to hit 3 Gigahetz with this 2.0a... with a 1.8V

but what ppl need to realize is that the difference between 1.675v and 1.70v is only 1 fsb tops!
