"Highly Technical Brouhaha" forum?

I just saw this in the GH forum (posted by Soccerman) and I think it's a great idea. I know Aces has a great technical forum, but I like AT better. Zuni? Whattayathink?

This has been discussed in great detail, and I think its pretty close to becoming reality.

WTH....I can't seem to find the Highly Technical thread in current messages or the archive....it must have gotten deleted.

Anyway, here's the gist of it: Around 1 1/2 months ago, Wingz suggested the creation of a technical forum...it was a topic of great debate, but there was a lot of support behind it (it reached almost 120 posts!...probably a record for Forum Issues). Last week or so, Anand posted in a thread in GH that he was working on a technical forum, so keep your fingers crossed.

Flamewars? I think THE idea behind the high tech forum area is to separate real discussion from the &quot;MY AMD RULEZ YUOR PENTUIM!&quot; in General Hardware. Last I heard, this new forum is going to be heavily moderated.
I still wonder what's holding up the works?
