80 mph in my 2001 toyota corolla. Was the max I was willing to let it go since it required more than 2k rpm to get it past that mark.

Do you have any idea how much the fine would be if one were caught going 100MPH? I got a pulled over 2 weeks ago going 86 on I-95, the cop gave me a break and wrote it up as 79, a $110 ticket. He told me a ticket@86 would have cost me $275!. Driving fast is fun as hell but be prepared to get seriously dry-sticked if your caught.
Shens, unless it could wheelie in 1st, 2nd and 3rd too.. lolOriginally posted by: ebaycj
Fastest was 168 in a heavily modified 1991 fox-body mustang. Pulled a wheelie shifting into 4th gear @ 110ish. It was freakin' nuts.

215 ish in a 99 eclipse GSX in Canada, it was scary...
240-250 ish in a 2001 S class diesel benz in Germany on autobahn
Back in 88 used to drive an old ass audi, don't even remember model, around 190 everyday on autobahn
I just recently watched a ZR1 test vid in Germany on the autobahn, fuckin makes me envious not being able to do the same here In Ontario we got a law now that if you do 50 over anywhere you get $ 10,000 fine, and your car impounded for 2 weeks
btw this is all in km/h not miles
If you were scared at 215 I don't think you'd be able to handle the ZR1
I can't say I ever drove a car that was stock at high speeds over 120 or so...but when I did it was really nothing spectacular.
