Hillary doesn't seem to realize yet that most of the country, including large parts of the democratic base, do not like her at all, and that is putting it mildly. I guess she is still popular in the insider/fundraising circles she frequents, but the same is not true outside that bubble.

I hope she does us all a favor, and retires somewhere far away from public policy.
She's probably just an optimist who keeps hoping America will wake up from their fevered dreams about her corruption and realize they were all manipulated to think that way about someone who spent her entire life primarily serving others.

I really hope Hillary reconsiders stepping back into the spotlight, the next election has no place for her. The only thing that will happen if she throws her name back in the ring is increase Trump's chances of winning from no real chance to a possibility. She just needs to leave and never look back.

Pretty much. She'll never escape the reality distortion field the right wing has wrapped around her, sad to say. It's a damned shame for her and this country the way that worked out.

I'm sure she'd run if the Party drafted her but that won't happen.

I'm really hoping she doesn't run. While not entirely a bad candidate there is twenty plus years of "Clinton Baggage" that has been put out by the right. I'd prefer a cleaner candidate. Biden is the only long term career person I would consider at this time. Now, if it was between Hillary and any other Trump type or career Republican I would pick her in a heartbeat.

She has spent her entire life seeking as much power as she can get.

Must be the right wing's wet dream. They think we will be so conflicted and will tear the Dem party apart over it. Guess what? The Dem party is way over Clinton. Next concern.

She can if she wants. She won't make it out of the primaries.

Yeah!

Just like Trump wouldn't run....
Well, Trump might have run, but he's definitely not going to win the primaries....
Well, Trump might have won the Republican primary, but he is DEFINITELY not winning the presidency, duh!

Her net worth is over a hundred million dollars as a public servant. Something makes me think she was primarily serving herself.

That's mostly from Bill's speaking fees as ex-Prez. You forgot to mention that they paid ~30% in federal income taxes & gave 10% to charity.

Go ahead- tell us how people should decline massive speaking fees.

Feel free to fuck right off and stop being a snowflake.

Hillary isn't going to run.

This is why I started using the ignore button. No one cares that your mad. No one cares that you think you get to decide what is or isn't a valid topic or opinion. Learn how to express yourself without the anger and you'll be taken a bit more seriously. As of now you're coming across as childish, it's not a good look.

Before you type out your scathing, profanity filled retort, just stop and think about what it is you want to convey. Perhaps you actually have the inside track on Hillary, maybe she told you she wasn't running over drinks last night. Or maybe it's just an opinion based on a gut feeling. Any of those are far and away better than what you've produced so far.

wait till you see the oppo research on Sen. Harris... it might be entertaining if you like distasteful Drama.

Anyone would be a fool to decline them. The next question is, what does Bill have to say that's so brilliant that it's worth a hundred million dollars?
I'd also be curious to see when those fees were generated. I'd be willing to bet they were pretty god when Hillary was secstate and when it looked like she was going to be president. Probably not so much after she lost.

Hey stop trying to derail the OP's thread, seriously just stop. He doesn't like it. But thank you for your concern about my concern, about the OP's concern about Hillary.

Hillary shouldn't and I'm 99% sure won't run. We should all be very concerned about a very likely non-event.

Its just another way for them to attack the Clintons.

Crooked Hillary! was probably the greatest lie ever told in American politics.

I mean, there they were, side by side on national TV, Trump & Clinton, and they somehow decided she was the crooked one.

Sweet fucking Jesus was that ever delusional.

For sake of argument if we stipulate it to be true, then ironically she probably would have done better to not have married Bill. And subsquently getting tarred by his baggage, and then ruining her credibility by doing the "stand by your man" thing during his affairs and not holding him accountable when he admitted them. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris didn't need to marry a charismatic politician and hope to ride his coattails to higher office herself. In an alternative universe she never married Bill and eventually did become POTUS without being saddled with the drama of Bill and maybe not developed the paranoid defense mechanisms which led to her downfall.

That's right- attack the Hillary that is with the mythical Hillary that might have been.

I don't think Clinton would have gone anywhere if she hadn't married Bill, she has almost no political talent of her own.
