This presidential campaign is either going to be one of the most fun to hitch a ride on or one of the most dullest. It all depends on whether the Repubs decide to hire a Tea Party wacko or a dynastic clone.
I really would prefer the former, seeing as if every Repub candidate must pledge an oath of allegiance to in order to "win" their primaries. This would then result in the election becoming a statement from the nation to that party of whether or not their party platform is a popular one that the TRUE real majority of the nation believes in (of which I seriously doubt), or a minority view that is only perpetuated at a certain state/regional level.
In actuality though, it seems to me that the Repubs will have to heavily rely on a refined level of subterfuge and spectacular propagandistic ploys whether they champion a Tea Party candidate or not. This, because their ideology is suffering from a severe case of anachronism and demographic isolationism.
In essence, Hillary represents to me the past AND the future, in that she is at once a relic of a bygone administration and generation. Yet, because she may be the first female POTUS, she represents a new era in that regard.
Given the pluses and minuses of representing both, and of whom the Repubs are presently relying on to carry their battle flag into the fray, Hillary still looks to be the eventual winner.
A perplexing issue for the Repubs to try to get a handle on for sure.
