You need to learn proper soldering breathing technique. (exhale while actually soldering) Fuck man. You inhale lead and then come into a p&n forum and debate with people who have degrees in what you want to debate? Just stop it.

I will never concede!

Education does not equal intelligence or wisdom. And I solder just fine. I have an industrial fume extractor but I've been working away from it. The upside is I'm pretty sure I no longer have finger prints. I can now become a crook like you democrats!

You mean your link that shows over a million more families in poverty since 08?

Or am I missing something? I have been doing a ton of soldering lately and I've probably breathed in a pound of lead this week. I'm not being intentionally dense here. Well at least not at the moment.

Are you missing something? Yeah but that's besides the point. What you don't seem to be able to do is follow a conversation on a message board. It's why, when I counter your claim that "more people are on welfare", you counter with a non sequitur.

It's ok to be wrong, it's ok to have opinions based on a lack of information, where it's not ok is when you ignore the facts presented to you and stick to your opinions even after showing you that they are based on falsehoods.

Now will you deflect once more or shall I join in on calling you stupid?

Or it could be that we reward people for not working like never before.

Let's be honest. If you or I were single moms trying to raise kids would we bust our tales for $500 a week and take home maybe $350 and barely make rent or let the government pay us to stay at home and watch soaps?

If we don't give people a reason to work, a lot won't. Add in how tough it is for businesses right now and you have a perfect storm. People don't really need to work and businesses aren't in a position to pay more than what the government gives.

Hell I work for a small company that will do $750M in sales this year and we still are afraid to hire new people. No one knows if the bottom is going to fall out if the economy and it's beyond expensive to pay for their health care. So we pay out the nose for consultants since there is no commitment.

Can't have it both ways unless you're in denial as to what's happened to us. Can't blame disincentives to work for a lack of jobs.

And you can't project your "values" onto others w/o somebody pointing out that you are.

And save us the crocodile tears about the pitiful state of business & corporations. Profits are way up, cash reserves enormous & stock buybacks fairly common.

Only a hack such as yourself would think that the jobs aren't there.

I await your reply where you move the goal posts to change what he meant to say.

You are one hilarious person. There is study after study of people with college degrees taking min wage jobs.

That's the whole point.

Pretending the job market is good is just idiotic. Its not good. But we have a large portion of posters on here who refuse to not believe anything Dear Leader tells them. The applaud (literally) jobs reports that they know are fudged and ignore the numbers that show record numbers of Americans not working and on public assistance.

This country has no chance of improving if people like them won't even admit there is a problem.

This thread has turned hysterical. These people will be back in here 2 days later claiming all the jobs have gone overseas and the 1% has all the money. You are on your own rudeguy, these guys will debate all day long that water isn't wet.

The Democrats would be much better off acknowledging the nation's job market problems and then blaming on the Republicans and their 1% buddies who shipped jobs overseas (and imported foreigners on work visas). But the Democrats are not without fault too since they supported mass immigration (legal and illegal) and many of the Democrats themselves are corporatists, too.

Hillary? Yeah no. She is too busy destroying billing records and keeping private email servers to destroy more evidence. She cannot be trusted.

Goal posts moved!

Congrats hack!

Called it!

It's like you don't even understand what you post. It's like a random response generator. And I will post this for the intellectually challenged. When you go to college and get a degree, and you go out into the workforce and find you have to settle for a min wage job at say McDonalds, now read this real slow so you understand it "The jobs are not there"

You don't understand what literally means.
You don't understand what goal post moving means.

OK...ok....I think I get it now:

The jobs are there, they are just minimum wage jobs. Am I right?

Your first statement is correct, your second one, not so much.

The percentage of hourly workers earning the federal minimum wage or less has decreased from 4.7 percent in 2012 and from 13.4 percent in 1979.

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/making-sense/undisputed-facts-minimum-wage/

In pretty much every meaningful job metric, under Obama, the needle has moved in a positive direction. Only one important metric hasn't been moved and that's income inequality, hardly a metric the right has any room to talk about.

HEY, he told us he heard it in a conversation, 20 years ago. He didn't claim there was anyone else besides him in that conversation.

On a more serious note, werepossum mystifies me. I've seen him make thoughtful, substantive, even humane posts. But then he'll go off on hysterical, off-kilter, unsubstantiated diatribes that can make you think he's a Michael1980 level, ideologically-induced idiot.
So do I ever make thoughtful, substantive, even humane (WTF?) posts where we still disagree, or are you a more doctrinaire leftie who divides the nation into people who agree with you, people who are more liberal than you, and crazy people? You know, the people who insist that you can bet your freedom on the meaning of "corruptly" while the meaning of "is" remains beyond human understanding?

This election cycle has hardly left the starting gate and already it's so much fun. Too bad the Repubs still can't manage to find a presidential candidate that can stand toe to toe with Hillary.

With the containers full of libelous baggage that Hillary has in tow behind her, you'd think it would be soooo easy to find ANY sock puppet of a candidate to challenge her with some semblance of worth.
Hey, hard to stand toe to toe with her when she's standing on all that Chinese and Russian money.

The point escapes me but I really like that JPEG, so +1.
