Let's look at it just a little different:

If Sarah Palin were running and one of the first issues she decided to take on was abortion and then it came out that she had had more abortions than anyone in history, would you think she was a hypocrite?

Can you work harder at duh-version?

So you demonstrate your non-belief in conspiracy theory by re-assertion of conspiracy theory, never even noticing that you've done so.

That's a textbook example of conditioning.

Oh ya, we all know Hillary just loved NY.

So, I was mistaken. That's what i get for listening to the news while running around cleaning the house... you miss some things. Thats' why I said IIRC.

I'm going to need your man card now.

I'm typing this while calibrating a gyro and warming up the soldering iron to solder some power cords.

So you never clean your house or do you have a servant/wife to do it? I'm currently single.

When I was touring I had a woman come and clean once a week.

Oh I'm a good little housewife! I clean, cook, do laundry. I'm a single dad so if I don't do it, it doesn't get done.

Doesn't mean I can't pick on you for doing it though. Pics of you in your maid outfit?

Follow the money. I believe that Hillary is toast.

Elizabeth Warren needs to run imo...I disagree with her on many issues but she's one of the few politicians I can trust. I'm tired of being lied to.

Doc I think I agree its time for a true progressive to run. Honestly who was the last one to run Howard Dean? I feel as a country we have been favoring businesses too much for too long its time to balance things out.

Your analogy isn't even remotely comparable. For one, in order for clinton or anyone for that matter to enact campaign finance reform, they have to get elected first and when your opponents are pouring in millions/billions you have to suck it up and play the game you seek to change.

I know you know this, you are just trolling again, quite poorly.

Did Obama campaign on limited money in politics, then doubled down on spending more?

Amazing Clinton is still easily up, nearly double digits with all the email and Clinton Cash conspiracy theories swirling. Obviously a lot of people can smell another bullshit Clinton scandal.

Wow you must be really far left if you think Hillary is center-right.
Far left in comparison to a center-right politician like Hillary Clinton? Yup!

Here in observable reality, the Democratic party is a centrist party. 90% of them would fit in nicely in conservative parties throughout the rest of the civilized world.

It's the conservative delusional reality that allows you to see someone like HRC as some sort of leftist, when the people you cheer on are named Santorum, Gingrich, Walker, Cruz, and Gohmert.

It's really quite amusing to watch the armies clashing over the $2.5 billion.

Seems like all this talk of 2.5 billion goes back to one line in a New York Time article from April 10:

"But even as Mrs. Clinton attempts to set aside her celebrity and offer herself as a fighter for ordinary voters, her finance team and the outside groups supporting her candidacy have started collecting checks in what is expected to be a$2.5 billion effort, dwarfing the vast majority of her would-be rivals in both parties."

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/11/u...esident-on-sunday.html&assetType=nyt_now&_r=1

There ya go folks, that's it.

Back to the wars guys and gals.

Hey, genius: this thread is where I first learned that and where it came from. Why are you posting it again? We know. Projected numbers are all we have to go on and the NYT is as good a place as any to reference for them.

Assuming Hillary will be the Democratic nominee, if she is outspent by any sizable margin in the general election she will lose. She's looking to get comparable money to compete because if she doesn't get comparable money she will lose.

The righties are pissed because she is likely to get comparable money and would be much happier if the Republicans can outspend her by a sizable amount.

There is complete dishonesty on both sides on this: the righties want Hillary to be at a huge money disadvantage and the lefties are OK with the promises Hillary will need to make to get competitive money.

We need to end private funding but this will not happen and, post Citizens United, the problem of private money has only gotten worse.

This will not end well...

HRC polls miles above pretty much any specific candidate, and generic "Republican" candidates. And their 2016 Summer Clown Car Tour hasn't even started yet.

Not to mention, Republicans have an uphill battle getting to 270 EC.

On election day 2016, the Republican party presidential nominee will have won the popular vote exactly twice in 28 years. Yes, you read that correct. 28 Years (1988, 2004).

All that said, I'd love to have totally publicly funded elections. Unfortunately, money rules everything. Because freedom.

The issue is, that one line with no attribution to anyone or anything specific is it. That one line has lead to countless stories about 2.5 billion. And they all refer back to that one line. There is *nothing* to substantiate the number at this point. You might as well use 2.5 leventy gazillion as it has as much substance to it.

So, back to the wars.

I just thought it was funny that she spouted off about finance reform. I could not possibly care less how much money she raises.

In the end it's going to be a huge poo flinging contest. Whoever has the least stick will win.

Sorry pal, but when you are viewing Hillary Clinton as right of center, the delusion is all on you.

There you go, go with polling data more than a year before the election.
