Hey all,

I saw Citrix's post and thought it'd be a great idea to let everyone know about some positions that have opened up in my company. We're constantly hiring (literally 1-2 people a week) and are always looking for good, qualified candidates.

Right now the positions that are open are as follows:

CAD Designer
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Navision Developer (this is VERY important around here, if you have experience please let me know!)
Accounting Manager
Application Developer
Application Developer Manager
Director of Supply Chain and Logistics
Fulfillment Manager
Project Manager for VFS (Ventilation and Filtration Systems)

You can find more information on all of these positions and apply at http://essgov.com/careers.html.

It's a fun place to work, I can promise you that!

Ask the Mods to sticky this.

Also, put the info in the original thread.

It may not help, it's partly the elevation changes that get you. I was once looking for a bridge that was on a map for about 20 minutes before I realized it was a few hundred feet above me. It's certainly easy to get lost here.

Elevation changes, streets that meet up at the worst possible angles, this state has the most fvcked up road system I've ever encountered (including my drive across the US).

They need to take a divine bulldozer & flatten the entire state, then start over. Without the hills it would be SO much better.

You get on a street that appears to go the dirction you need to go, then it changes direction and takes you someplace entirely different.

You moved to pittsburgh? When did that happen? (guess I've been out of touch with atot for longer than I thought) Good luck navigating our roads

I don't know if you want to add this to your post but I know that Ariba has been hiring like crazy for a little while now. I just checked their site and there are quite a few job openings in pittsburgh office (they bought out Freemarkets).

Pittsburgh is an old steel town. You can still see a bunch of the old run down steel mills just collecting dust. If I'd have to guess on a specific food their known for I'd have to say it's a Primanti's sandwich. I personally can't stand them but folks here seem to like them (I don't know what they put in their cole slaw but it's vile I tell you).

And here I went and moved away from Pitt. Blech.

Oh well. Seattle's prettier.

It's nice to see there's still a thriving business in Pittsburgh. It gives me some hope for moving back to the area.
