wonder if they have a "Hers" version
Yes I have it - but it's a 5970.wonder if they have a "Hers" version
I recorded the coil whine from my 8800GTX while running 3DMark03 with vsync off. Sampled it and made a techno song called trancemitter. Pure mind control stuff. :biggrin:shh nobody cares.

it's ok, actually they do care, as do I. It doesn't bother me if you like the attention because you are the only girl here. You can have my quota for the day.
lol now that is awesome. I could go to sleep to that, put my computer next to my bed for that same reason. I like the emi too, it polarizis the quantum signature on my nucleotides and makes for very good dreams.
i'm never going to get laid.

Dude, you just need a female nerd. Mine does her own hardware upgrades and driver/software updates.
Really thinking about this card, getting tired of waiting for Fermi prices.

actually. I was wondering - does any ati manufacturers have those lifetime warranties like bfg/xfx/evga?
I ordered one yesterday to replace my GTX 275. I was also waiting to see if Fermi prices would effect the 5xxx series much as I read AMD could go as low as $300 with the 58xx line and still turn a buck.. but I just do not see it happening. $379 is a good price IMHO. Even if the price drops $40 or more when Fermi releases I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. These cards are fast when you need them to be and draw so little power at idle it's shocking. Crossfire scaling/efficiency is supposed to be excellent also (70% + from what I've read). My advise if you are on the fence... go hit it. Another consideration for me the price of my GTX 275. I can probably still ebay it and get at least $180 for it which makes my $379 upgrade much more palatable on the wallet. Once Fermi releases the NV prices will drop faster than the ATi/AMD for sure.
My2c.
I would have bought another gtx275 in your case for 200$. Save your self 180$ and get better performance.
Really I don't see why you needed to upgrade a gtx 275 @ 1900x1080?
It should max 90% of the games out there. I would have waited.
