Quick note...it's $449 AFTER $50 mail-in-rebate. It's $499 before it. Which makes it a better deal, but definetly not "hot" for a card on par with a similiarly performing and priced 7900GTX.

Nope, it means that this morning the $50 rebate turned into a $30 rebate. =( Dammit.

So the XTX is $469 AR now.

The XT was $418 AR last night ($60 rebate). It's now $448 AR.

The deal is still pretty good considering a normal nVIDIA 7900GTX starts out at $499.00 and the fact that most stores do not have the 7900GTX in stock (as of time of posting). I can never afford to buy something this good, but still a good deal for those that can shell out the greens.

7900gtx was 480.00 + $5.00 shipping on release day at several places, only reason it is more now is supply and demand/ price gougeing.

i am sure it will be $480.00 again soon.
