TD still lists the shipping time of " Usually ships within 24 Hour" so I am not too worried.

My 2 x 1 TB ordered on 11/18 via CompUSA (did the $20 back on $200 PayPal deal) has "shipping data received" by UPS on 11/28 (today). So it looks like they are getting shipped. I want to see what the noise and heat is like. I want to buy a couple more (limit of 5 rebates) but the heat sounds like it might be a problem.

edit: Sweet tip on the tweaking ability -- I'd be using additional drives in a HTPC so that was my main concern.

also i got the 15% cashback with live but when i go to check out, it doesn't say that i'll get cashback. when i ordered though ebay, it showed how much cashback i would get.

Can you combine the 20 of 200 paypal deal with live cashback? If so it seems to me the math would be as follows for 2 drives:

109.99 * 2 = 219.98 (cost of drives)
219.98 - 15% = 186.98 (live cashback)
186.98 - $20 = 166.98 ($20 off 200 paypal offer)
166.98 - $60 = 106.98 ($30 rebate for each drive)
106.98 + $1.99 = 108.97 (1.99 shipping)
