:disgust::|:frown:
THE PRODUCT: I Purchased the DZ-MV550A NTSC Camcorder (mini-DVD) about 3 months ago from my local Circuit City.
PERFORMANCE: I love the quality of the video and the performance of the camera.
WHY I PURCHASED: I need to take video of horses at horse shows and performance events. I do a disc for each horse. I then need to send that disc (without the camera) to my Marketing Media Specialist to review, edit, and copy on to a standard DVD-R for distribution for a customer's review to potentially purchase the horse.
MY PROBLEM: I am very frustrated for the apparent difficulty to be able to do what I need to accomplish. Through trial, error, and research (and purchase of software), I have found a means to copy the entire VOB onto the hard drive and then copy to a DVD-R, but I have found no means to edit this material.
Can anyone explain to me the process for getting from the disc (without the camera) to a state where I can give a finalized disc to my Specialist to be able to review, edit, and create a final video; save it on her hard drive; and then be able to burn copies on to a DVD for any customer with a DVD Drive to view the disc.
This has cost me many hours of my time and my Media Specialist?s time trying to track this process down (as well as purchasing a new computer and video card for $1,100). I just need to be able to get my process down so we get off to selling horses.
You Anandtech gurus have always been a great help... :thumbsup:
I hope you can come through again for me...
Thank You in advance for your input
