Just read from the chubby wallet thread that there's probably no idle power management on the E7K60 which is designed for 24x7 operation on blade servers. Hitachi said that it's not meant for laptop operation. If you have a laptop, you should get the 7K60, not the E7K60. More info here:

Also, read up on the chubby wallet thread about the warranty term on the 7K60's sold at newegg and zzf. It seems to be hit and miss, and could be no warranty, 1-yr, or 3-yr, depending on your luck. Always double check the warranty term on hgst's website right after you receive the drive and if it doesn't agree with what's stated on the product description, you can return the drive.
