If the new Hitman is much of the same, then I don't see what the big deal is. I am very confident that NV's upcoming driver will put their cards on par with AMD's in the new Hitman.
I don't care if AMD or NV are beating eachother in games as long as all the GPU's perform as they should. I would like to see benchmarks from this game in 1-3 months since I expect to see an entirely different picture regarding performance parity.
If you haven't noticed min fps is fine aside from Gamegpu broken dx12 tests.
Look at their ROTR dx12 test. The same pattern where it is not playable. I recon their dx12 machine is POS.
You play the game then you will understand problem as i had. I simply refunded like many other did. Benchmark does not tell the problem.

This game is gonna take time to get into the black. They laid off half the staff in the middle of development lol. I'm sure that has something to do with its unfinished and crap status. And iirc even a year ago before release it was looking terrible.

You did read the article, right? They laid off all the people who were working on projects other than Hitman so they could focus more on Hitman.

Regardless even of the restructuring, it was well known ahead of time this game would run like crap. What's even more hilarious is the attempt to make this game some sort of showdown by some posters.

Concerning the layoffs, Jim Sterling has a great writeup right here in this video over the state of Hitman and how it as well as Square Enix ended there. I do believe it really is as simple of a marketing and leadership screwup as he implies.

This game is getting slain in user feedback. With Square's reaction to sales of Tomb Raider, I wouldn't be surprised if this new studio head gets removed too.
I mean, was it really coincidence the 10+ year head of Crystal Dynamics left after abysmal sales of the new Tomb Raider? And how the PC version got rushed to market? I guess so.

One of my friends is a huge Hitman fan, and he said this game is basically broken. They're still having server issues and he can't progress his rank offline mode.
I being more of an MGS fan, he explained it to me "imagine trying to earn Big Boss rank but it requires online and once an hour you get disconnected and have to restart the level." Considering earning Big Boss rank requires patience and literally peeing into canisters to avoid detection, I guess I can understand his frustration.
Something-something, gem in the rough. AMD needs to vet it's game partners a little closer. They are killing it with visuals (Battlefront/Hitman) but those games are being killed by word of mouth (Battlefront mostly selling on the BF name and Star Wars craze).
Single player games with always online DRM is BS regardless of who does it.
