What do you reckon fellas? To 3 or not to 3 (GF3 that is)? Should I just grab an MX and wait till prices drop, or should I go it now?

Have you not read Anand's article? For now, the GF3 offers no real advantages over the GF2 GTS. It will, however, usher in a whole new level of performance when games that support it's features start hitting the market. By then the prices will have dropped to a reasonable level.

For now pick up a GF2 Pro, & start saving for the GF3 & some games to properly use it.

Have you seen the DigitLife benchmarks? Site's down so I can't.
Would I be doing injustice to a 1.4+ Tbird with a Pro though?

NO reason to ever drop more than 200 bucks on a video card. They come out with new revisions every six months!!! The games out today don't need MUCH more than a Radeon 64mb card. For a 175 bucks you could get by for at least a year or longer and then MAYBE buy the GF3.

lol....dont ask me i just bought an ultra card last week and was on the phone trying to get a gf3 today...LOL....GET THE GF3!!!!!...and the mx to keep it company...lol

I'm inching to a GF3 here - there's a conference on in England for around $350 which includes a "free" ELSA GF3. I know ppl in England who'd happily go to that if I paid for them. At $350 it's not THAT much more than a Pro/Ultra
