According to Jim Kittrell, captain of the Harriott II, riverboat workers have encountered those involved in the brawl in the past. While speaking with News & Views with Joey Clark on Alabama's 93.1 radio station Monday, Kittrell said that the group on the pontoon boat "comes every year."

"They're from Selma and we've had trouble with them in the past, but just like jokey things," Kittrell said. "Like, a couple of years ago, this same group was here. We came back from a cruise and our golf cart was missing [...] we finally found it in the Hampton Inn lobby. We looked at the Hampton Inn video. Found out who did it and we had them come down."

I never made the claim it was about race. I posted what we saw. Eyeballs told you race was a factor. EYEBALLS. Was it the primary factor? No. Race was a factor and now people on the scene have corroborated that.

Every crime involving 2 different ethnicities isn't necessarily about race. My guess most of the time it isn't. A lot if it is just random circumstance but watching this it was pretty clear.

I need facts stating that race was a factor, before saying someone of one race committing a crime against a different race, regardless of what the races involved are, did it because of race.

My title was based on that we all saw. That was it. I knew race was a factor but did not state until we got evidence. That's why I wanted to hear from the attacked dock worker but people have given sworn testimony to police.
