JonB is correct. I have many Lexmark lasers at work. I even have one at home, Optra S 1855.
I have it plugged into my APC 1000 UPS and it beeeeeps until the fuser is heated for printing
the first time. Subsequent warm-ups are short enough not to activate the beep from the unit.

I have 8 and whenever my wife plugs in the vacuum cleaner into the same circuit, it trips the breaker.

Definitely. Especially when the AC's condenser turns on and off, you'll get all kinds of weird power spikes and sags that'll either cause instability, or else shorten your power supply's lifespan.

I also have 2 17'' and 1 19' monitor on my Work desk, and 1 that I use on the rack.

I also have a 400W stereo system, DVD player, and VCR on the same outlet.

Have you considered a KVM switch? it might clean up that clutter a bit...

I remember a thread about this awhile back...I think the jist of that was you are pushing it if you've got more than 6-8 on one(10A) breaker.

Also, taking out the breaker, and replacing it with a piece of #8 copper wire was one suggestion, but YMMV, as this is untested, and known to cause house fires, serious injury, or death. In other words, that last sentence was an absolutely moronic thing to do - DO NOT try it.

What mess? I just added another rig and am in the process of adding yet another one. The line is still hanging in there . I just can't hook up a vacuum to it.

P.S. Those monitors you see in the picture are not all hooked up the rigs. only one monitor gets moved around. My work area has 3 monitors because I like to feel like the guy in the Matrix.

Get a good 230 Volt Window A/C and run a dedicated 230 V circuit to it. That will keep the noise and load off of the computer power line.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 separate power lines for those 12 computers. Otherwise you will be having all kinds of power-related failures and glitches. If it was me, I would limit each circuit to 3-4 computers/monitors.

If you are going to invest good money in all the hardware, you need to do follow through and make sure that you can properly cool and power them. It's all part of the package.
