This is not at all condoning the "eww trannies" comment, but everything else equal you really are at a much higher risk of contracting AIDS from transgender women than cisgender women.

As per the stats earlier, receptive anal sex with someone with a penis puts one at a much higher HIV risk than having intercourse with a woman, given the same likelihood of either having AIDS. This is then compounded by transgender women being much more likely to have AIDS than cisgender women (especially outside of the USA):

People aren't going to suddenly realize there was an epidemic of HIV in the porn industry only after being informed that someone was spreading it for years. Their testing practices aren't THAT bad. AIM (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adult_Industry_Medical_Health_Care_Foundation) requires testing every 30 days, and when someone comes up positive it results in industry wide shutdowns until all potential infected are identified.

Someone having sex with tons of porn stars is a good indication that they didn't actually have HIV, or at least haven't for long.
