I guess mocking the deaths of millions with some *jokes* is acceptable, and any disagreement will be met with the "aw, you ain't gots no sense of humor" approach. Well, "you ain't got no taste", or class.

Ignorance of the horrors of history and mocking, laughing, and tacitly endorsing them by doing such will lead to repeats of these atrocities, as demonstrated by the continuing attempts at genocide over the years since.

How about some jokes about some more "ethnic cleansings"?

If you aren't Jewish you shouldn't be offended... plain and simple. And even real Jews wouldn't get that offended. Racism is part of this world and we have to deal with it. The best racist jokes I've heard were from my Mexican compadres at work about themselves. They laugh about what people say about them. The funniest racist joke I heard was one like Medicine Bear's.

"How do you find the population of Mexico?"

"How do you find the richest guy in Mexico?"
-find the guy who got the penny

Just chill out and realize that racism is starting to get tolerated and that not many people are affected anymore by it.

We make fun of the Crusades now - I believe Monty Python made a movie about them, said to be a quite funny movie. Many people died and suffered horribly during the Crusades. The Black Plague - "Bring out your dead." - killed millions. I doubt there were many jokes made back when those matters were considered current events.

Once enough time passes, there will likely be humorous tales told about Lincoln and Kennedy's assassinations, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Trade Center attacks, and the Iraq war.
