It is nice, but does it use 3D acceleration for that or not? I ask because it will be interesting to see how Microsoft compares with their 3D OS rendering in Longhorn once it hits.
Because it means you don't have to minimize anything. F9 lets you select whatever window you want, and F10 lets you get at the desktop.Originally posted by: draggoon01
why is that useful? there's less desktop space if you use it that way instead of just minimizing to a taskbar
Apple Remote Desktop is a administrative tool for managing multiple PCs, and not a direct competitor for MS Remote Desktop. That said, it'd be nice to have a free single user remote desktop.Originally posted by: PorBleemo
Dude, daylight savings screwed up the forums bad. That's a major bug.
However in response to Mac OS X, it's really funny that they offer Remote Desktop for Macs for $200 when we get it free with Windows XP Pro!

For me it's not an issue because I have only one Mac laptop and one Windows XP desktop. There is a free Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for OS X so I use that to control the PC wirelessly.

The same ALT-tab stuff already exists on the Mac, Expose is WAY better.Originally posted by: MonkeyDriveExpress
It looks cool, but call me stupid, isn't this just a fancy Alt-Tab, WinKey-D replacement for the Mac?
