what kind of changes did u make in your lifestyle?

I eat a lot less (and exercise more, though not at first... I had to get down to a weight where I could walk a few blocks without getting exhausted or ride a bike without worrying about the weight cap). I've been working with a doctor and nutritionist and average like 1K calories/day, though I have to go in for blood work every couple months to make sure I'm not malnourished, developing vitamin deficiencies, etc

I got fast food for lunch today... small chili from wendy's. a couple years ago, a fast food lunch would have been like 2 whoppers, fries, and a coke.

That's amazing. Are there any particular foods or nutrients you have to be careful to get enough of?

Where did you find the nutritionist? Referral from your primary care physician?

Nice work man! Looking good. I bet that feeling is great. Getting winded when you try and do *anything* must get old really quick.

No, they were always there, you just couldn't see them.

once you reach a certain point of going from fat to pudgy, are you planning on cutting so you can go from pudgy to sexy?

I'm not obese or anything but I've heard that in the past, that it like inverts or something because of the fat. I had a friend that last 200 lbs in the most unnatural way possible a few years ago (ephedra abuse) and he said he got like 2 or 3 inches back lol.

I can't confirm with a ruler, but it definitely looks bigger.

once I get the self confidence and courage to get my ass inside of a gym although if everything works out and I move into my aunt's house next year, I'm probably going to convert the extra bedroom into a home office/exercise room.

for now it's just cardio and push-ups.

Well you probably couldn't even see it before, so anything would look bigger.

Congrats though man, looking good! Hope you can keep it up!

I hope this isnt offensive and I am not poking fun.

I am genuinely curious. Do you have any extra "skin" from when you were 400 lbs? I have seen some shows where people that have lost that much amount of weight have to go in for surgery to have the extra skin "flaps" removed.

there are areas that I'm not super happy about (my thighs and upper arms are probably "looser" than someone else my size), but it's nothing compared to like the flaps of skin you see on those documentaries. I think it's a combination of age and genetics.

So the skin shrunk as you lost weight? Thats kickas... Congrats man. I am 6'0 and been right around 180 lbs for the last 10 yrs.

I dont know what I am going to do when I start putting on weight. (I dont exercise and my diet isnt particuarly that great) I have started to try going to the gym and trying to eat semi healthy before its too late. I dont want to wake up one day weighing 250 lbs and then trying to lose it rather hit it before it hits me.
