the only reason why family lived in livingston was to provide better education for me and my brother. however, i never went to any school there (almost went to newark academy but changed mind and stayed at mountain lakes until graduation.)

i have a cousin who lives at some apartment in englewood cliffs off 9W.

Before I sold it, I was getting $1300 for my 2br apartment that I was renting in Caldwell. That was 5 years ago. The guy that has it now is getting almost 2k for rent.

That is insane. My dad is paying that much for his mortage and all his bills. His house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It's hard to even imagine paying that much and getting so little.

That's exactly right. I was looking on Passaic Ave and the surrounding area. I am indeed Jewish and would like to live near a Jewish community. My brother has lived on Lafayette for years, but is moving out of the area now. I am somewhat familiar with the neighborhood.
