Is that supposed to be Elite member talk? B/c I don't get it either.

It's very rare that someone understands Moonbeam's ramblings.

A ship can't sail where the water is too shallow. But who needs a ship when your life is paying rent.

I like the Japanese solution. Have one kid who lives in a closet and the internet, with you, till you die. They just need to solve the problem of fertilization by mail.

Mine just went up to 835/month, but they did give me a free month for renewing the lease for a year. I think my current complex is having troubles maintaining tenants though, they have multiple large banners outside advertising free rent, they've employed some teens to stand out by the entrance with advertisement signs, and every week I get an advert clipped to my unit telling me how I can get free money through referrals. Shame too, its a fairly nice complex, but a big on the pricey side.

$1950 for a 1700 sq foot 3 bed 2 1/2 bath duplex with 2 stall garage in Walnut Creek, CA. Not too bad for the area actually.

Somebody said I was missed and I wanted to see if it wasn't missed like a bad habit.

Thought about that. We aren't yet sure that we'll be staying here long term (more than a year or so) and houses are going for crazy amounts around this area as well.

Consider Hoboken. You will still have crazy rent, but it is a really fun town and you will have a reverse commute (except on Friday nights).

Will you be working near rte 3 / 46?

Little Falls is pretty nice and cheaper than Clifton

well for some the convenience of being close to new york city is worth the cost.

Hoboken/Weehawken rent is way too much for what you get. $2500 wont even get you a newish 2 br. It will be more like an old not refurbished 2br down by Jackson St... Better off in areas like Clifton/Passaic/Englewood/Leonia/Teaneck

Tell me about it. I have a 3 bedroom house and 2 baths on 2 city lots. It is crippling. I pay 425$

I use to get it for a hundred less and the landlord raised rent after many years.
