Since I didn't see the OP ask this either, how much are you guys paying for seedless grapes?

OP, that's insane, I pay a good amount less than that for my mortgage on a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in an awesome neighborhood in a nice quiet suburb of Chicago. (albeit one that's a bit far away)

The green ones or the red ones? Or maybe the purple ones?

Seems a little high for the Clifton area. I have a 2/1 1200sqft in the Morristown area for $1300 with utilities.

If it has all the premium fixtures and is in a newer building though, thats what they will run. The nice 3/2 1800sqft condos/townhomes run about $2800 out here.

do you have like 40 roommates? If not i really need to go to your realtor. I'm paying $1300 for a 650sq 1 bedroom apartment.

Probably 40 roommates. Or a lie. Or a dump.

It's possible....if you live on the Allston or Somerville border. Maybe even the Watertown border. Certainly not the boston border.

Or his huge ass room is the bathroom or a walk in closet.

wow, ridiculous prices. I'm paying 680/month for ~1000sq ft single bedroom plus single car garage, in a condo setup. Built just a couple years and in great shape, yet I still feel rent is high.

1 BR in popular neighborhood in Chicago, paying $835/month. It's on the low end for this area, too.

Haha, that's more than the mortgage payment on my 2000+ sq ft house. And Oregon >>>>> NJ.

One might say rents are so high because there is more than one person dumb enough out there to take it.

Yes, and they all come from NYC. It's cheap to them though.

Wow, in NJ it sounds like "finger cuffs" with you between gas prices and rent.
Actually NJ has some of the lowest gas prices in the country. Not that that means the gas is cheap...

True dat, but you should see their auto insurance prices, not to mention their property taxes!!!!~!!

That's crazy talk. I've got a ~1200sq ft, 2 bedroom apt and only pay a little over $800. And it's a REALLY nice apartment too. But I'm in TX. ~$2200 in rent really sucks.

Yeah, but you have to live in Texas...he's only gotta live in Joisey...

Hmmm,. waidaminit...I think he's getting the rotten end of the deal still...

OP.. Send me an email or PM. I just moved from Central NJ to an apartment in Englewood. I'd like to talk to you and share my knowledge from apartment shopping. We looked in plenty of the same places I am sure you are looking at. Clifton/Lyndhurst/Hackensack/etc.

The place we ended up renting is a 2br for $2480 a month, but includes alot of extras and is a great building/location.

Its way more than I expected to originally pay, but I'll explain why we decided on this place.
