Yep. The employment rate is a lagging indicator of the health of the economy. Not a leading or even current. By the time the economy turns around, unemployment will still be high for a while.

Dow J just took a huge shit today, down by -4.62% at 7,888 points.

It's possible that people just took their money out the Dow J and bought Tech Stocks.


Also, day trading is pretty useless. You're just going to end up spending all the money you theoretically gained paying off your fatass broker.

Not worth it.
