Looking at those pictures only reinforces my belief that poor people fuck for entertainment.
While this may be sort of true it has been shown that when peoples income starts moving towards 1st world parity they have fewer and fewer children. That is why you see almost or actual negative population growth in native populations in 1st world countries. They tend to rely on immigrants, who at least the initial immigrant families have quite a lot more children than the native population. Even 1st and 2nd generations often have more children than the average. Look at Japan, one of if not the most homogeneous culture (behind maybe N Korea) in the world. They are very proud of that fact too and it has been extremely difficult to immigrate to Japan and remains so even after they loosened their immigration policy. They have a serious problem with a declining and aging population. Over the next decade their 65+ population is going to explode while their working aged population continues a sharp decline and children are so low to replace newly aging 65+ it's scary. Over the next 40 years it is much more dramatic, children become almost statistically non-existent while 65+ continue making huge gains and working aged adults continue to take huge losses. Hell, they can't even attract very many people with their work visas even if they are long-term/permanent. Maybe if they threw open the floodgates to actual immigration right now they might be able to stave off the decline but because of their work culture and huge language barrier, you almost have to be a fluent speaker and willing to stay with a single company for your entire career. That and other things like they have a culture of work effort mattering more than efficiency. So, in general, things like telecommuting are frowned upon whereas working late doing meaningless bullshit is rewarded. There are just too many other countries that you can go to where you don't have to put up with stuff like that.
In 30-40 years they might just be past the point of no return.
