well, as crazy as it sounds, we were required to pick up the phone if somebody was in the shop. So when we came in to prepare to open (at like 8 am), and somebody would call and try to order food, we'd have to tell we were closed. We usually fielded calls from the owner of the joint, or from like Coca-Cola trying to schedule deliveries and stuff.
