I've watched the local news forever and they always use the word bond when I think the word bail is the correct word. You can bond out of jail or make bail using a bail bond but the amount you need to pay to get out of jail until your court date is called BAIL. Am I right? If so, the word bond is incorrectly used a lot.

When my son was in Cub Scouts one of the troop leaders was arrested for molesting one of his daughters. I knew the guy a little bit, always thought he was kind of odd (most of them seemed kind of odd to me though).

Wife left him and he went to prison. I'm sure that hasn't been easy for him...

When I was in Boy Scouts, our scout master was accused of molestation by several of the scouts. I don't know what happened to him. He never touched me or my friends in the troop but it was quite a shock when we heard.

In 2010 I climbed Mt Rainier with an older guy who had basically everything a person could want - awesome job, money, power, prestige, great family, etc... A few months after the climb he was busted for child porn on his pc. He got 5 years. Let's just say that it was a complete shock to all the guys on the climb team - he seemed like a pretty awesome guy.

Ultimately depends on the severity of it and whether they can make it a federal issue. Neighbor got a solid 20 years federal for his endeavors. Happy that my kids will be grown by the time that creep gets out.

I'd withhold judgment til the facts are in. Your brain can get carried away with the /possibilities/, and you're forever tarnished when the /reality/ isn't so bad.

I searched, but I guess I suck at searching. I did find an old friend I looked up. Turns out he died 14 years ago. Probably ODed, or was shot. Might have been his weight+drugs. Wasn't unexpected really :^/

agree it should be locked. But possessing that awful thing--for whatever sick reason if true--is much different from creating that awful thing and performing that awful thing. This is why one has 90 year and the other faces 3-7.

Still, the comment from the source is sickly, all being what it seems to be.
