I don't believe that the bear charged anyone. I think the guy just wanted a big bear head to put on his wall and brag about which makes me sick and I really hope he gets fined up the ass.
Give me a break, the guy has his hunting gear still on and is holding the frigging thing like a trophy. You are just gullible, i'm not jumping to conclusions and i'll bet he is being investigated about it. BTW, did he go home with any deer? I somehow doubt it.
Dear and Big Game season are generally the same time. So he was probably in his legal rights to do this. Also hunters don't kill for the sake of killing. I've hunted for the past 20 years and have only harvested (yes a politically correct term for killing) one dear. The meat I couldn't eat was given to the food bank. It's actually because I'm a bad shot. If I can't take the deer or bear down in a humane manner, I do not shoot.
Stupid rednecks are always wrecking the natural order of balance with guns...that guy should have died.
Let's keep building houses where woods once stood. Let's keep pushing these animals into smaller areas, then complain when they run into our car or wreck or gardens. Let's keep letting the animals reproduce and not thin out the herds as they say. Without coyotes, wolves, and other animals to eat the deer, they would overpopulate and starve. Would it be nice if the world was a rosey place where we all gave hugs and smiled. Sure in your world. But in reality, man is part of the food chain. Otherwise we'd be tree hugging, veggie eating, don't wear leather (check your shoes), bicycle riding hippie throw backs (not pointing fingers). Eat your Big Macs and be blind to the fact that the cows are still alive when the skinning starts, Veal - Don't make me go there. Chickens - Cut the head and put them on a hook. And Corn, ripping them right off the stalk. Oh the pain of the poor beanstalks...... You should open your eyes to the amount of deer and bear taken in this country, compared to cows and pigs. Which meal are you preparing tonight for dinner?
