The TV has gone? It's so fast. You guys are right, you don't need to buy the TV to get the $20 rebate, but I just ordered as well 'cause my studio need a small TV anyway. Maybe I will change the title to make it clearer.

Carefull, this company Gives away printers to hook people into their overpriced ink carts. You can not get an aftermarket for this printer, but I think you can refill the carts, which is very cheap. If you can refill, then it is a good deal, otherwise, get and epson 860 or 740. You can get aftermarket carts for aroun $6 bucks.

Just watch out, you could end up paying alot more in the end.

Skywhr: The best buy site says the printer is not available for pick up at local store, at least in my area. Free shipping make it just doesn't matter.

I suggest that if you want this printer, you buy a few and
take the print cartridges from the others. $20 is WAY less than
you would pay for a single black OR color cartridge. You're getting
both for $20 by buying the printer.

Bottom line suggestion: Buy a few, take the cartridges from the
remainder, and then donate them to GoodWill (or charity of your
choice).

BTW, does anyone know how the Z31 compares to the Z51? I have
the Z51 (which, unfortunately, appears not to use the same
color carts as the Z31, although it DOES use the same black
carts--hmmm).

I'm pissed because I bought this printer AT a Best Buy B&M store at their day-after-Thanksgiving sale for $59.99 - $40.00 rebate, which equals $19.99. I would have rather bought it on their website for $19.99 without having to deal with the rebate (and possibly make money, too!)

I still have the ad, its one of those Minimum 60 per store, will be gone in 30 minutes kind of thing. As for the TV, who wants a B/W TV? I too ordered the printer online the day after thanksgiving at $59.99 before rebate. When I saw this deal this morning I figured I'd order another one for $19.99 and get them both free after rebate. I had the thing in my cart while it was in stock, stepped away for a moment, came back, and it said no longer available! argh! BUT, when I saw the previous comment about checking the online account I noticed that my previous order's price had been adjusted to $19.99 before rebate also! Best Buy's website may have had some serious performance problems this last weekend, but they sure made it up for it with this kind of customer service. Would Staples have automatically adjusted a previously placed order price? I doubt it. You'd have to wrangle with often incompetent CSR's to get the money back.

XZiler8r Where you shopping for parallel cables? You can get those IEEE1284 bi-directional cables for well under 10 bucks online. I have a local shop that sells 6' printer cable for 4 bux - you might have a local shop that sells them cheap too. Just don't get ripped and buy high-dollar Belkins from Best Buy...then you are gonna pay 15-20 for them. (okay, bend over!)

New in retail package. I bought some of these a while ago.
They have a right angle connector on the printer end, which
is supposedly a &quot;bonus&quot; but I found irrelevant.
