Holy ******! Worst exam I've ever taken

DAMN! I just got home from a hard as ****** 4 hour finance final exam!
What really pisses me off is that the mid-term was rather easy; I got an A on it and it only took me 2.5 hours, but a lot of people took around 3.5 hours on the mid-term and didn't do so well, so the prof said he would make the final shorter and easier. Bull-******-****** is all I have to say to that! :|

There was still about 10/25 people still taking the exam when I left :|
And perhaps the worst thing was how hot and humid it was in that room :|

I called the guy that finished first tonight, he got a 102 on the mid-term, and even he said he wasn't sure how he did this time!

Oh well, at least I only need a 40% for for a B or 1% for a C in the class. Would have been nice to get an A, but I can't see that happening after tonight.

4 hours is cake, I've had a 12 hour analog microelectronics final. I think I was only able to take about a 15 minute break for lunch and a 10 minute stretch; I needed the rest of the time and didn't complete the exam.

I'm not saying 4 hours is terribly long on its own (I plan on taking the CPA exam within the next year or so), but our final exams are only supposed to be scheduled for 3 hours.

He knew full well it took many students around 3.5 hours to do the mid-term. He said the final would be shorter and easier, but it had many more problems and took a lot longer. I wouldn't be surprised if there is still someone there right now (4 hours, 40 minutes in).

I dont think they would be flawed if a few changes were made. For one thing they should be an accurate reflection of what you should have learned throughout the course, most are not. The second thing I would change is the ability to pass with a 70% understanding of the material. If you want to do a job you should know it at least 90%. (I wont go into useless courses *cough* Principles of management *cough*)

12:30p Accounting final
2:30p Computer applications final
5:30p Microeconomics final
anytime from 12a-11:59p online Communications final

I do believe that comes out to 5.

Edit: Not all exams will take me 3 hours to take. Principles of management I should be able to finish in 45min, Accounting will prob take the whole 2.5 hrs, Comp apps should take 45-60min, Microeconomics should take 1-2hrs, and communications should take about an hr.

I kid you not it is a pretty fcked up university. If I was in charge of it the budget would be half of what it is (which would be easy to do by simply not buying MX1000 mice + 22" LCD for every secretary on campus) and tuition would be halved as well.

I am at UofIllinois. I would probably sit in a corner and cry if i had 5 finals let alone all in the same day.

I have my accounting this friday, plant pathology next thursday, and econ next friday. And i am stressing about that.

11 hours 30 minutes until I have FAR for 4 hrs. My mind starts to go numb after like 2.5

Hahahahahahahahahahaha I wish! That's all the easy undergrad finance stuff.

Our exam was a few case studies including such topics as capital structure theory, dividends and repurchases, corporate valuation, cash flow estimation and risk analysis, and financial restructuring.

5 exams in one day? You have to take them all? That's insanity. I had 3 scheduled back to back my first semester freshman year and talked to my chem professor and got one moved. Here at UF there's a policy of no more than 3 per day. Honestly I think if you have 2 per day you're pretty fried by the time you get to the second one. Unless it's Principles of Management...can anyone define theft for me?

lol its basically a BS course on teaching you how to be a good manager. 95% of it is common sense but you have to study because they make up terms like crazy.
