Home Cinema - No PC sound

Hey guys,
Just set up a home cinema the other day but i'm having a little problem with sound from the PC. I've got my 360 connected via HDMI to my HDTV and then running an optical cable through to my Surround Sound System / Bluray player. I can get sound from the 360 quite easily.
However, I'm not getting any sound from the PC which is also connected to the HDTV by HDMI. I've tried changing the sound device on the PC to Digital Audio (HDMI) device, but still there is no sound coming through.
Any ideas how to fix this?

What is your video card?
Is it capable of sending HDMI audio?
Is it hooked up internally to do so?

I have a Nvidia 9800 GX2.

It says in the above link under "features" that it can do both A/V.

Not sure what you mean about hooked up internally.

I am unsure if your card needs to be hooked up internally or not. By that, I mean the card is hooked up to a connector/pinout on your motherboard to get sound to the HDMI connector.

look at your motherboard manual and find the onboard header for digital audio, and connect that to the corresponding header on your video card.
