What gets me is that probably and most likely many of these protesters voted republican last time. You know, the anti black president Obama and his questionable US citizenship and his socialized anti American healthcare takeover. Not to mention if they put a democrat in, the Gays would run the streets converting every 10 year old in sight.

This is the kind of BS republicans bring into electrons time after time. It comes from FOX, it comes from right wing radio, and people (dumb people) eat it up! And time after time people, just like these voting protesters, they elect republicans back into office.

I would love to take a poll of each protester and know bottom line if they actually voted republican last election. Because I would wager they did exactly that.

Convinced Obamcare was evil, and the gays were a coming after their kids, and convinced republicans were on their side, and convinced the democrats were not.

This is how these guys get into office.
And now the mislead WI voting public suffers from buyers remorse big time.
However.... it's too late for that....

Every union member that voted republican, and I know there were many, ENJOY!
(You dumb SOB WI voters)
Get the real picture now?
Can you pull your head out of your ass by the next election cycle?
Or will the terror or a Gay takeover and Obama socialism twist your thinking once again...
If this wasn't so pathetic, it would be knee slapping funny.

Wow, you are so far detached from reality.

I truly had no idea there were so many conspiracy-theorists amongst progressives. This thread has really got them crawling out from under the woodwork. Quoting themselves too.

Why...it's almost like they're having a meltdown.

I think it says a lot about the state of political discourse in this country when we can't all just agree that threatening to kill people over political disagreement is probably a bad thing, regardless of motive or participants.

There's something seriously wrong with a political environment where a discussion of death threats turns out like this...isn't there?

This sounds nothing like the reactionary side of the left. "High on Koch?" Sound really dumb and forced. Whoever this is knows nothing of the left and "propaganda of the deed". Anyone could have written that with a beef against someone. If it had revolutionary language (both sides have easily distinguishable rhetoric in these situations -the right likes to use the constitution tax gripes and late 1700s revolution/civil war the left uses rhetoric about people and exploitation by the ruling classes) This seems like an average joe fed up instead of a idealist. Doubtful this is a "lefty", I doubt its legit anyhow what a dumbass drama queen thing to do telling your story beforehand, someone watched too many james bond films with the villain telling his plans to leave the room while bond escapes knowing it all.

It is a pretty accurate description of peoples views in here and on the mainstream media. All those things mentioned are discussed 24/7 on cable.

I would like to see your explanations how this is not typical cable news/talk radio fed drivel people endlessly repeat day in day out on here as soon as the marching orders come from the net (usually limbaugh first on radio and backed up by foxnews then bloggers)

Please point me at one intellectually honest conservative poster who argues through logic and merit instead of being this me-too douchebag who knows he is full of it but is fine with twisting truth as they have (or think) they have a vested interest in lying their asses off for their "team". I say this as I despise both sides propaganda -but this is a common running theme of conservatives it makes you wonder if they work for corporations or weapons industries they kiss so much ass to people who have 0% interest in them.

I decree this letter as a fake.

It's from a kook on the net for what its worth. We know that.

For those all spooked about left wing terrorism give me a break, last time we had any organization was the 70s, the actual left is far too inclusive to get their shit together against the government, the second anything gets organized every cop in town is trying to get in. You can see this nowadays with cops bored infiltrating anti-iraq war protesters eating all the cookies at living room "rallies". Meh.

Doubt that. Wilson made it very clear he intended to go after collective bargaining. So, if these leftists voted Republican, they either weren't listening or are just morons.

I assume you mean Walker and please point to anything that indicates he campaigned to strip workers of their right to negotiate their contracts. His own campaign website mentioned ways to alter, not wipe out, teacher's contract negotiations.

“Mediation and arbitration changes will also be needed to ensure that local economic factors are considered along with other common sense factors when arbitrating teacher contracts,“

That's not exactly Hey, I'm wiping out your right to bargain collectively.

I like how everyone acts if Walker would have specifically said he was going to do this during the campaign it would all be OK and nobody would care? I am fairly certain Obama didn't campaign on keeping the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan going, keeping Gitmo open, war tribunals, raising the debt by trillions, and keeping the Patriot Act.. yet he has.. where's the outrage?

Personally I am saying it's disingenuous to suggest people voted knowing full well this was the route he was planning.

And how is this any different than what Obama has done? Again, did he campaign on keeping gitmo open, renewing the patriot act, detaining people indefinitely, running up trillions in debt, etc? Would people have voted for Obama if they would have known what he was planning? Who knows, but he is President for 4 years and its not fair to say we should recall Obama because of those things. Its absurd to suggest Walker is doing anything wrong by pushing whatever he feels is in the best interest of Wisconsin, if voters didn't know, perhaps the media or the public should have asked the question during the election?

Scott Walker was the Milwaukee County Executive for nearly 8 years where he did many of the same things in Milwaukee County as he is now doing for the state of Wisconsin. Its not a surprise to anyone other than morons who weren't paying attention.

I'm afraid this is normal. Remember that there's a reason why the benches between opposing party members of Parliament are spaced precisely two swordlengths and one foot apart. We're getting back in touch with the animals we are.

Know why there aren't any real monsters? Because we frightened them all away. We are consummate horrors. Just look around here.

Sounds like it was written by a 4th grader, besides the real crazies usually don't send a letter informing you of the crazy shit they are going to do BEFORE they do it. There is a good reason for that to, its because they actually want to do whatever crazy shit they have planned. A letter like that only serves to get you the punishment before you actually do what you wanted to do.

It's funny, but the people complaining about it are the same people that were:

a) fairly muted when a wack job rightwing nut murdered an abortion doctor

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/05/31/george-tiller-killed-abor_n_209504.html

b) Jerked off to invading Iraq for B.S. reasons

c) Jerked off to torture

d) fairly muted when a gunman opened fire at a unitarian church for being 'liberal'

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25872864/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/

Also, you'd think conservatives would wait for an investigation, considering Walker considered causing trouble by using fake plant protestors to make them look bad.

Conservatives: Actually KILL people (and cheer it on some of the time).

First of all, I don't find anything funny about it at all. Secondly, crazy fuckers kill people. Crazy fuckers happen to be in both extremes of our political parties, it isn't the political ideology that makes them kill it is the crazy fucker part.

I read that crazy fuckers who kill people for bullshit reasons tend to like cats too. Do you think it is fair to associate anyone that likes cats as a possible homicidal crazy fucker? No? Same thing with crazy fuckers from both the far right and the far left.

LOL. I like to give a lecture about all of the astonishingly scary animals that once roamed the earth, like the saber-tooth cat of North America and the 30 foot long monitor lizard nightmare of Australia, ask my students why they no longer exist, then flash a slide of a bunch of people at a bbq.

zebo is talking about lefties, you're talking about righties. so who's going to go all bin laden first? After obama was merely elected ammunition sales went through the roof. That's a good indicator.

I read that dry foods with long shelf lifes like rice went way up too. Maybe they are gonna cook a fuckload of jambalaya instead of going all bin laden?

But but butt, the NRA tells us the armed citizen leads to good governance. Small caliber handguns and assault rifles may not exactly morph up to thermonuclear war, but a civilian armed citizen war in Wisconsin is the proper way to settle such disputes.

All ye last minute men in Wisconsin awake, best stock up on guns and ammunition before its too late. Yippee we can all die. Last standing Wisconsin man woman or child wins. The tree of American liberty must be be fed by bigotry greed and Stupidity.

And let it be said, as so goes Wisconsin, so goes the nation.

Ask not what we can do for Wisconsin, ask instead what we can do for the Koch brothers. After all, that is the true spirit of American brotherhood.

You already answered your own question. Neither campaigned on what they have done. It happens. Politicians lie. The post I was responding to was implying that Walker was very open about his intentions on collective bargaining. He wasn't. I'd have the same issue if someone came in and said no one should be surprised Obama kept gitmo open, he campaigned on it.
