I have a notebook that I use for work with all the settings for the network on it. Back at my apartment I have a DSL modem that I use the same NIC card to connect to. Currently I just retype in the info (DNS settings, gateway,..etc.) when I go from home to work but is there an easier way around this, Like some software that you can change settings from work to home with a single click? Thanks.

And pay the guy the $8.00 or $9.00! It's well worth it. It's all pretty much regedit stuff, but danged if that isn't a handy dandy little prog. I've used it for a couple of years now. Great utility!

This is going to cost you bucks, but I say to buy another disk for the laptop. Use this second disk for your stuff. That way nothing you do in your personal life gets on the "work" drive. Depending on where you work, this may well save your job.

Why would you buy a second disk when you could just buy a second nic card for alot less.
