Home Page Layout Change? No DailyTech links column?

Sorry if wrong forum but I don't see a "Homepage" or "Webpage Comments" link.

As of today I don't see the DailyTech links on the right bottom of the home page, and now the Twitter feed is 3 scrolling pages long on the right side.

Maybe a setting in my browser, FF 34.0, but I don't remember changing anything that would remove an entire specific column from the home page.

If I'm missing a setting can anyone point me to it or just tell me if others have the same change?

I think Anandtech finally had enough of Jason Mick and decided it was in their best interests to distance themselves from DT.

I'm curious what happened to it as well. Those links were usually the main reason I visited the homepage. I have absolutely no interest in reading Tweets and such.

Just as a bit of background info, DailyTech had been spun off from AnandTech some years ago and has been a contracted news provider since. Their contract has ended, and hence the DT section of our has been pulled.

^^ So do you plan on getting another tech news feed? I know you guys are busy enough just trying to give us all the tech review articles.

It seems like the new anandtech is all about money saving. IE do whatever google wants, cut corners

This is disappointing, I probably spend more time going to dailytech links than anandtech articles.

As off the wall as some of the DT articles were, the kept me coming back to the home page multiple times a day.
You guys should definitely look into getting a another news feed source.

Agreed. Guess I will have to start visiting Dailytech now also.

The only reason I visited Anandtech daily was for DailyTech. I'd read Anandtech articles that interested me while on the site. Now I'll be going directly to DT every day I guess.

Um... you guys should all create an RSS feed to DT if you want to read Mick's misspellings and baitclick articles.

Seriously, I'd much rather see AT enter a new contract with an actually reputable tech news site than continue to pimp that drivel DT publishes. It always felt out of place there, juxtaposing professionally written reviews and articles with what's tantamount to a tabloid.

I come to AT for real technical news and discussion, not "Bat Boy steals Kim Kardashian's Blackberry."
